Stories that move,
systems that carry them.
A film and technology studio building original work — and the tools that get it made, released, and seen.
Get in touchWhat we do
Blue Shark Studio is an independent film and technology studio. We develop and produce original film and video work, and we build the software that supports it — production tooling, distribution workflows, and the systems that connect a finished piece with the people it was made for. We work with independent filmmakers, production teams, and brands on both sides of that line.
Film & video production
Original short-form and long-form work, from development through post, plus commissioned production for clients.
Production technology
Custom tooling for scheduling, review, asset management, and the unglamorous parts of getting a project finished.
Release & distribution
Getting finished work in front of an audience, and building the systems that keep the audience connected to it.
Working with us
Projects usually start with a conversation. Reach us through the contact form or by email at ray@bluesharkstudio.org, and we’ll follow up to talk about scope, timing, and whether we’re the right fit.
Robot status alerts by text
We operate an automated assistant we call the Blue Shark Robot, or Ray. People responsible for it can opt in to receive status alerts by text message: online and offline notifications, battery level, and hardware faults such as a camera or microphone dropping out.
You join only by checking the consent box on our contact form. We never add anyone automatically, and we never send marketing or promotional texts.
Message frequency varies, because alerts are triggered by events rather than sent on a schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Messaging Terms and Privacy Policy — no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
